In this groundbreaking collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, our team engineered a next-generation UX simulation testbed by fusing real-time hardware with a fully virtual digital twin world built in Unreal Engine.
The system utilizes CAN bus communication to collect data from physical UX simulators, synchronizing it with Unreal's environment to create a 16K-resolution real-time visualization pipeline. This high-fidelity setup enabled iterative testing and validation of various Hyundai IVI Clusters in hyper-real conditions.
What began as a prototype quickly became an operational sandbox for UX design experimentation — blending industrial data, interaction design, and cinematic-grade rendering in a fully immersive lab.
And yes — we built this in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul.
The result?
A new benchmark for automotive HMI research, where design meets data, and immersion meets precision.
